Today 14th June:

It will be a cloudy day with outbreaks of rain, most persistent over Shetland and accompanied by strong easterly winds. Orkney turning drier later but remaining cloudy with some coastal mist or fog. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

Tonight:

Staying cloudy with strong easterlies and outbreaks of rain over Shetland. Drier but still cloudy over Orkney with some coastal mist or fog and the odd showery outbreak of rain. Minimum temperature 9 °C.

Saturday 15th June:

Staying cloudy throughout Saturday with rain at first, becoming drier for a time through the morning. Further showers or more persistent rain arriving later, heavy at times. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Sunday unsettled with showers or longer spells of rain, but a few sunny intervals too. Probably a bit drier on Monday and Tuesday with cool northerly breezes.
