A bright morning, best of sunshine over Shetland. Orkney clouding over with chance of drizzle and mist in afternoon, and Shetland will become cloudy later. Light southeast breeze freshening later. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Tonight:

Mainly cloudy with a few showers, some of these could be heavy especially over Orkney in the overnight period. Fresh south to southeast winds. Minimum temperature 12 °C.

Thursday 27th June:

Heavy showers over Orkney at first will move up to Shetland as Orkney turns sunnier, these brighter conditions follwing to Shetland later. A bit warmer. Maximum temperature 18 °C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

Thursday cloudier and windier with some morning rain, brighter in the afternoon. Friday and Saturday bright spells with some showers, staying breezy.
