Shetland and Fair Isle will be dry with some good spells of sunshine. A dry day across Orkney with sunny spells but some cloud may develop this afternoon. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Tonight:

This evening will be dry but cloudy. Thickening cloud will bring rain, briefly heavy, for a time in the early hours. Fresh to strong southeasterly winds. Minimum temperature 13 °C.

Thursday 25th July:

Early rain or drizzle soon clearing across Shetland. Otherwise mostly cloudy with a few showers across Orkney in the afternoon, Shetland dry until evening. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

Mainly dry on Friday and Saturday with sunny intervals and a few light passing showers. Cloudy on Sunday but mostly dry, chance of a little light rain later.
