Bright or sunny intervals, but clouding over at times with the odd light shower, mainly affecting Shetland. These will die out in the afternoon with increasing amounts of sunshine. Light to moderate southwesterly breeze.. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Tonight:

A bright evening with sunny spells then a dry night across the Northern Isles. Light or moderate southwesterly winds becoming southerly. Minimum temperature 12 °C.

Monday 29th July:

Mainly dry and bright and feeling rather warm with a light southerly breeze. Thicker cloud and outbreaks of rain arrive from the west later. Maximum temperature 20 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Breezy with sunshine and showers on Tuesday and feeling cooler. Dry and sunny with light winds on Wednesday then perhaps some showers on Thursday.
