Another mainly dry day with some bright or sunny spells, but thicker patches of cloud could still bring a light shower or two. Lighter winds than yesterday. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Tonight:

Any isolated showers clearing to the north this evening with some late sunshine and some clear periods overnight. Winds will be light south or southeasterly. Minimum temperature 11 °C.

Thursday 1st August:

A mainly dry and bright day with some sunshine at times, and just the small chance of a light afternoon shower. Light south to southeast winds. A little warmer. Maximum temperature 18 °C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

Mainly dry on Friday but risk of low cloud, then some evening rain and breeze. Rain clearing Shetland early Saturday then sunny. Sunday morning dry and bright, then rain later.
