Shetland and Fair Isle will have a dry day with plenty of sunshine. Dry and bright across Orkney this morning, cloudy at times this afternoon with the chance of a shower. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Tonight:

Any showers across Orkney dying out this evening, otherwise a fine evening with some late brightness. Then a dry night with lengthy clear periods. Light winds. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

Sunday 4th August:

Most of the day will be dry with some sunshine. Thickening cloud will bring a little rain to Orkney in the evening. Freshening southerly winds in the evening. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Windy with rain at times on Monday. Drier weather with easing winds spreading from the west later. Dry on Tuesday, showers spreading east on Wednesday.
