It will remain mostly cloudy throughout the day. Occasional haar and patchy light drizzle for Orkney, but the cloud lifting and skies brightening across Shetland. Winds light. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Tonight:

Staying cloudy through the evening and overnight with occasional haar and patchy light drizzle possible over Orkney at times, but cloud generally lifting a little compared to previous days. Minimum temperature 9 °C.

Sunday 22nd September:

Staying generally cloudy on Sunday, but lower chance of haar or light drizzle over Orkney than previous days. Some brighter spells potentially developing for Shetland. Winds staying light. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

A change from Monday with winds increasing from the north bringing some rain, followed on Tuesday and Wednesday by scattered showers and a fresher feel.
