Taking place on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd of November is Orkney’s fantastic gaming event, Northern Invasion. Bringing together gamers from Orkney, Shetland and the north of Scotland, this is an opportunity for all gamers to pit their skills against the best players, learn new games, and have a lot of enjoyment doing so.

The event is raising money for Orkney Blide Trust and Orkney Prostate Awareness and is to be held at The Boys Brigade Hall, 41 Thoms Street, Kirkwall.

It runs from 10am to 10pm on both Saturday and Sunday.

The entry fee is only £5 per day. Included in that price is the evening meal.

Sunday 3rd November

• Warhammer Underworlds Tournament

There is also a painting competition and many more board games to play.

This along with Employability Orkney- Restart Orkney and Cycle Orkney as well as NorthLink Ferries (who help the Shetland lads) for all there support to get Northern Invasion running this year , an event that brings gamers together and to raise money for the Orkney Blide Trust and Orkney Prostate Awareness
