A mostly dry and rather cloudy day but the clouds thinning at times allowing some brighter spells, especially over Orkney. Another mild day with light southerly winds. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

Tonight:

It will be a mainly dry and cloudy night with still the odd patch of drizzle, especially across Shetland. Light southerly winds. Minimum temperature 7 °C.

Tuesday 5th November:

Another mostly dry day with a few bright or sunny interludes developing, again most likely over Orkney. Staying mild with light winds. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

The mainly dry, settled weather looks set to continue for the rest of this week. Always a lot of cloud but some sunshine breaking through. Staying mild.
