Dry with some bright or sunny spells through the morning. Low cloud may affect Shetland at times, and then Orkney later in the day. Freshening southerly winds. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Tonight:

Low cloud likely quite extensive through the evening with some clearer spells possible. Becoming clearer through the evening over Orkney. Fresh southerly winds gradually ease. Minimum temperature 9 °C.

Friday 8th November:

Some bright spells at first, but cloud becoming more extensive through the day. Best chance of any brightness for Orkney. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Rather cloudy through Saturday, with spots of drizzle at times, Orkney perhaps seeing some brighter spells. Early rain on Sunday then brighter with occasional blustery showers, gradually easing through Monday.
