Mostly dry with early showers, mainly across Shetland, soon dying out. There will be sunny spells although turning cloudier in the afternoon. Brisk northwest winds. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Tonight:

Staying dry this evening and overnight. Cloudiest skies expected over Shetland with just the odd break, but some clear spells across Orkney. Light to moderate southwest winds. Minimum temperature 5 °C.

Tuesday 12th November:

Dry and bright with sunny spells expected, the best of these across Orkney. Cloud thickening in the evening with patchy rain nudging into Shetland. Moderate to fresh southwest winds. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Rain and drizzle clearing south early on Wednesday, then dry and bright. Mainly dry Thursday and Friday, but mostly cloudy with occasional drizzle. Windy at times.
