Dry and bright with sunny spells, the best of these across Orkney. Cloud thickening this evening with patchy rain nudging into Shetland. Southwest winds will freshen this afternoon. . Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Tonight:

It will be cloudy with a band of light rain moving southwards across the Isles. Dry, clearer conditions reaching Shetland by morning. Minimum temperature 6 °C.

Wednesday 13th November:

It will be a mainly dry day with some bright or sunny spells. Fresh westerly winds. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Rather cloudy, mainly dry Thursday, then rain later on Friday. Brighter on Saturday with blustery showers, becoming heavy at times, possibly wintry later. A much colder day and also windy.
