Today 25th November:

Storm Bert will move east through the Northern Isles today. Though weakening it will still bring frequent showers and occasionally strong winds, perhaps gales to Orkney by early evening. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Tonight:

Gale force north to northwest winds developing as Storm Bert clears to the east. Frequent showers merging to longer periods of rain at times. Minimum temperature 3 °C.

Tuesday 26th November:

Strong north to northwest winds bringing frequent showers at first, but gradually winds will ease and showers will dwindle through the day. Maximum temperature 7 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Mainly dry and bright for Wednesday and Thursday, with only a few isolated light showers cropping up. Strengthening southerly winds for Friday, with rain reaching from south later in day.
