A mostly dry morning with some sunny intervals. Cloud increases in the afternoon with outbreaks of rain moving south. Strong south to southwest winds easing later. Turning colder overnight, some wintry showers Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Tonight:

A mostly cloudy evening and night. Outbreaks of rain in the evening, turning to showers overnight, these becoming wintry over high ground. Minimum temperature -1 °C.

Monday 2nd December:

A bright but cold day with scattered showers, turning wintry to low levels. Strong northerly winds easing. Maximum temperature 4 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Tuesday mostly dry with sunny spells, but clouding over with rain in evening. Wednesday bright with a few showers at first. Further outbreaks of rain later Wednesday and on Thursday.
