After the poor weather the day before last Saturday gave us a calm, dry night for one of our youngest residents, Kaleb, to turn on the Christmas tree lights. 

The Stromness Pipe Band entertained us in the car park and later on the Salvation Army sang carols for visitors to the Christmas Market. 

The whole event was organised by Shannon Foubister of Brough Bakes who, along with Beiting and Brew and Pablos Grill provided refreshments.
