It will stay mostly cloudy with a little light rain, mostly over Shetland. A mild night with a light westerly wind. Minimum temperature 5 °C.

Wednesday 11th December:

Mostly cloudy with light rain clearing from Shetland later in the day. Some brighter interludes developing over Orkney. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Staying mostly cloudy with a band of rain crossing the Isles on Friday. Mainly dry on Thursday and also dry on Saturday with freshening northwest winds.
