A mostly cloudy night with showers. Showers will be more heavier and occasionally squally for a time around midnight. Fresh to strong southwester winds. Minimum temperature 4 °C.

Sunday 29th December:

The morning will see showers, perhaps some longer spells of rain across Orkney. Becoming colder in the afternoon and evening with showers turning wintry. Maximum temperature 6 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

A cold few days with a few wintry showers, perhaps some longer spells of sleet or snow at times. Windy at times too.
