Cloudy with a few showers for Orkney at first, dying out for a time, before further showers towards morning. Staying dry for Shetland. Windy for Orkney. Minimum temperature 2 °C.

Tuesday 18 February:

Cold, Cloudy and windy. A dry start for Shetland but a few light showers for Orkney, these spreading north to Shetland later. Maximum temperature 5 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Dry and bright but windy Wednesday. Milder on Thursday and Friday with rain or showers and gales at times.
