A mixture of bright spells and a few showers. The showers mostly across Shetland with longer dry and sunny spells over Orkney. Feeling rather cold with strong to gale force southwesterly winds. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Tonight:

Mainly dry with long clear spells in the evening. Further showers will then arrive from the west later in the night. Remaining breezy. Minimum temperature 4 °C.

Tuesday 25 February:

Sunshine and showers, these heavy and thundery in the morning but becoming more scattered in the afternoon. Strong west or southwest winds gradually easing. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Mainly dry and bright on Wednesday then showers later. Sunshine and scattered showers on Thursday. Mostly dry on Friday but perhaps turning wet and windy later.
