Today 28 February:

Chance of the odd shower at first across Shetland. Otherwise it will be dry with some good spells of sunshine. Freshening southwesterly winds later this afternoon. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Tonight:

This evening will be dry. Thickening cloud will bring rain from the west during the early hours, clearing from Orkney by dawn. Fresh to strong southwesterly winds. Minimum temperature 6 °C.

Saturday 1 March:

Any overnight rain soon clearing on Saturday. Then it will be bright and breezy with a few showers later on. Fresh southwesterly winds. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Dry, windy for most of Sunday but rain in the evening, southwesterly gales. Windy with showers and westerly gales on Monday. Rain spreading east on Tuesday.
