Orkney will be dry overnight with lengthy clear periods and a few frost. Shetland will have a dry and partly cloudy night. Light southwesterly winds. Minimum temperature 0 °C.

Wednesday 19 March:

Little change. Orkney will be dry and sunny. Dry across Shetland with more in the way of cloudier skies. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Mainly dry on Thursday, chance of a shower across Shetland. Dry and windy on Friday, strong southeasterly winds. Windy with some rain on Saturday, gales across Shetland.
