Robert Foden will give a talk in St Magnus Centre, Kirkwall at 7.30 on Tuesday 25 March.

The talk is open to the public and starts at 7.30pm.
Admission is by donation and there will also be a raffle

Orkney Norway Friendship Association, ONFA holds a TALK or event every month, throughout the year.
Plans are well advanced for the annual ONFA Norwegian Constitution Day mini festival Celebrations on 17 May.

This year, several yachts from the Stavanger & Karmoy areas of Rogaland will attend.
2025 marks the 80 th Anniversary of V E DAY, the end of World War 2 in early May 1945.
The Andholmen, one of the historic Shetland Bus fishing boats, built in 1938 will visit Lerwick for VE Day and be in Kirkwall for 17 May with a crew of 9 Norwegians.
She is part of a Liberation Convoy which will visit Shetland & Orkney from Norway.
Other vessels will continue on to Greenock, Belfast & Liverpool, later in May.
The 2025 OFFA 17 May Celebrations, in Orkney will be particularly poignant.
