Mostly dry this morning with sunny spells and the odd shower possible. Turning cloudier in the afternoon with rain spreading eastwards. Rain may be heavy at times. Winds becoming strong through the afternoon with a risk of coastal gales. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Tonight:

Cloudy this evening with showers giving some longer spells of rain at times. Mostly cloudy overnight with some clear spells developing and showers becoming more isiolated. Coastal gales for Orkney. Minimum temperature 5 °C.

Sunday 30 March:

Mostly cloudy and dry this morning with the odd shower possible and winds easing. Sunny spells becoming more frequent through the morning. A dry afternoon with long periods of sunshine Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

It will be cloudy on Monday with outbreaks of rain at times. Dry and settled conditons on Tuesday and Wednesday with plenty of sunshine on offer.
