It will be cloudy but mild on Monday with outbreaks of rain at times, mainly over Shetland. The best chance of sunny spells breaking out over Orkney through late afternoon. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

Tonight:

Cloudy at first over Shetland with some patchy rain, but dry with clear spells developing over Orkney. Clearer conditions spreading north to Shetland through the evening. Minimum temperature 7 °C.

Tuesday 1 April:

Staying dry and mild with some areas of cloud but mostly prolonged sunny spells through Tuesday. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Dry, mild and settled conditions on Wednesday with plenty of sunshine on offer. Staying mostly dry but turning cloudier with the odd spot of rain on Thursday and Friday.
