It will be a dry and bright day with long periods of sunshine. Feeling rather cool in the southerly breeze which will be fresh at times. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

Tonight:

All parts will have a dry night. Clear skies across Orkney but cloud edging in across Shetland during the night. Minimum temperature 4 °C.

Thursday 3 April:

Another dry day across the Isles. Sunny skies across Orkney but more in the way of cloud lingering across Shetland. Light winds. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

High pressure will maintain dry and settled weather. However it will be rather cloudy and cool with mostly light winds.
