A dry start across Shetland otherwise cloudy this morning with some rain or drizzle. This afternoon will be dull with misty low cloud and some rain or drizzle across Shetland, but drier spells developing across Orkney. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Tonight:

Mainly dry and cloudy overnight with just the odd shower. Outbreaks of rain, occasionally heavy, will spread to Orkney later in the night. Misty low cloud. Minimum temperature 9 °C.

Sunday 25 May :

A cloudy morning with rain, occasionally heavy at first. Becoming drier and somewhat brighter across Orkney in the afternoon, but outbreaks of rain lingering across Shetland. Maximum temperature 1 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Quite windy on Monday with rain across Shetland, drier for Orkney. Mainly dry and less windy with the odd shower on Tuesday and Wednesday.
