Monday will begin cloudy with scattered showers, some of these will be heavy and thundery. Sunny spells increase from the afternoon as showers become isolated. Breezy. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

Tonight:

The evening will be breezy with sunny spells and isolated showers. Many places become dry for a time overnight. The wind will strengthen towards morning. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

Tuesday 27 May :

Mostly dry over Orkney with only a few showers across Shetland, these interspersed with sunny spells. Windy. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Wednesday will stay breezy with showers becoming scattered. These clear overnight but a band of rain pushes northeast from Thursday morning. Sunny spells and a few showers follow Friday.
