Sunny spells with the odd shower possible throughout the day. Cloudier across Orkney to start but mostly dry, perhaps the south seeing a little rain early in the day, light winds. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

Tonight:

Cloud mostly clearing to leave a fine and dry evening with light winds. Cloud developing for Orkney later in the night and strengthening winds here too just after dawn. Minimum temperature 5 °C.

Saturday 31 May :

A dry start for Shetland, but blustery showers affecting Orkney will spread north during the afternoon with a wet evening in store. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Remaining unsettled with sunny spells and showers Sunday, a fine day on Monday, stronger winds and some late rain on Tuesday.
