A few showers in the morning become frequent across Shetland for a time before clearing by midday to leave the afternoon dry with sunny spells. Breezy. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Tonight:

Cloud will thicken as the wind strengthens from the evening. After a dry start rain will spread east from midnight, clearing Orkney again towards morning. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

Tuesday 3 June :

A windy day, rain will clear Shetland as showers move over Orkney in the morning. Showers spread to Shetland in the afternoon. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Windy conditions Wednesday ease through Thursday and Friday. It will be cool with scattered showers Wednesday and Thursday beginning to clear from Friday afternoon.
