Cloudy with heavy showers clearing Orkney in the morning, some brief sunny intervals before cloud and light rain arrives. Shetland rather cloudy and showery until mid afternoon, briefly brighter, but misty, drizzly later. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Tonight:

Some early light showers and mist then clearing up for a time later this evening and tonight, then cloudy with some mist and drizzle later in night. Minimum temperature 11 °C.

Monday 16 June :

A damp drizzly start with some mist then brightening up with some sunny intervals, mainly for Orkney in the afternoon. Moderate to fresh southwesterlies. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Tuesday windy with gales, some light rain, turning sunnier later. Wednesday and Thursday will be bright and dry with some sunny spells and lighter winds.
