A dry day with variable amounts of cloud. A few bright or sunny spells developing at times. Light and variable winds, becoming southerly this afternoon. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Tonight:

This evening will be dry. Thickening cloud will spread from the west in the early hours bringing a little rain towards the end of the night. Minimum temperature 12 °C.

Thursday 26 June :

Cloudy with rain in the morning. Drier and brighter weather will spread to Orkney in the afternoon but rain may linger across Shetland until later. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

Early rain on Friday then dry, further rain in the evening. Largely dry and bright over the weekend with just the odd shower.
