Cloudy with outbreaks of rain this morning. Drier and brighter weather will spread across from the southwest in the afternoon with some sunshine. The odd shower possible for Orkney later. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Tonight:

A few showers over Orkney at first this evening, but mainly dry for Shetland with some sunshine. Outbreaks of rain will then spread to Orkney in the early hours. Minimum temperature 11 °C.

Friday 27 June :

Rather cloudy with a few outbreaks of rain during daytime but some brighter spells too. Rain perhaps turning briefly heavy in the evening. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

A windy but mostly dry weekend with risk of gales at times, the odd shower possible for Shetland. Rain on Monday, occasionally heavy at times.
