A cloudy start over Shetland but becoming dry and increasingly sunny during the afternoon. Orkney dry with sunny periods. Warmer. Light to moderate southerly breeze. Maximum temperature 21 °C.
Tonight:
After a fine sunny evening, the night will be dry with some clear periods. However some patchy haar may arrive towards morning. Minimum temperature 12 °C.
Saturday 12 July :
Remaining dry. Some warm sunshine, especially over sheltered western areas, but with an increasing risk of haar in the east, perhaps persistent over eastern Shetland. Maximum temperature 23 °C.
Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
More widespread low cloud and haar on Sunday and Monday, but still the chance of brighter spells in west, where warm. Chance of heavy showers on Tuesday.
