Dry with long bright or sunny spells but there will be some patchy haar around, especially over Orkney. Light winds over Shetland but a freshening easterly breeze over Orkney. Maximum temperature 21 °C.

Tonight:

A bright start to the evening for Orkney but cloud then outbreaks of rain arriving. A bright evening for Shetland then clear spells overnight with perhaps a few showers later. Minimum temperature 14 °C.

Tuesday 15 July :

A cloudy and misty start for Orkney with outbreaks of rain then becoming dry with sunny spells. Bright spells and some showers over Shetland. Patchy haar. Maximum temperature 20 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

A lot of dry and bright weather but some haar at times. Feeling warm in any sunshine. A chance of some showers on Friday.
