A rather cloudy start with patchy haar then becoming brighter with increasing amounts of sunshine. Chance of a few showers, mostly in the morning. Feeling warm, but cooler near eastern coasts with a light to moderate easterly breeze. Maximum temperature 20 °C.

Tonight:

A dry and mostly sunny evening but some low cloud will spread into Shetland. A mostly clear night for Orkney but some haar will affect Shetland. Minimum temperature 11 °C.

Wednesday 16 July :

A dry and warm day with sunny spells, best of these across Orkney. Patchy haar around Shetland spreading south to Orkney during the afternoon. Light winds. Maximum temperature 20 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

A lot of dry and bright weather but some haar at times. Feeling warm in any sunshine. A chance of the odd shower.
