Cloudy at times with the odd shower but some decent sunny spells too, a few heavier showers may affect Orkney for a time this afternoon. Moderate to fresh southwesterly winds. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Tonight:

Sunny spells with scattered showers tending to die out this evening. Outbreaks of rain will then affect Orkney by midnight before spreading to Shetland later. Minimum temperature 12 °C.

Sunday 27 July :

Rather cloudy first thing on Sunday with a few outbreaks of rain. Sunny spells quickly developing for the rest of the day, albeit with the odd shower possible too. Maximum temperature 18 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Sunday spells and a few scattered showers Monday morning, turning mainly dry in the afternoon. Rather cloudy Tuesday and Wednesday with the odd spot of rain at times.
