Orkney will see clear periods and the odd light shower otherwise mainly dry. Shetland will be rather cloudy with occasional rain or drizzle, drier later. Minimum temperature 12 °C.

Friday 1 August :

Mainly dry with sunny intervals and the odd passing shower. Brisk northwesterly wind across Shetland. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Dry with sunny spells and light winds on Saturday. Cloud and rain spreading east on Sunday. Chance of wind and rain on Monday.
