Another dry day for many with a light shower still possible over Shetland. Patchy cloud with plenty of sunny spells. Moderate northwesterly winds for Shetland but lighter in Orkney. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Settled conditions continuing through the weekend with largely dry weather and sunny spells, the odd shower possible for Shetland. Light northerly winds becoming southerly.
