Today 22 August :

A largely dry day with patchy cloud and sunny spells. Longer sunny spells developing later in the day. Despite staying dry for many the odd light shower is possible over Shetland. Moderate north-westerly winds but light in Orkney. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Tonight:

It will remain largely dry through the evening and overnight with plenty of late sunshine then clear spells. The odd light shower possible for Shetland. Light northerly winds. Minimum temperature 3 °C.

Saturday 23 August :

It will be a dry day with patchy cloud and sunny spells in the morning. Cloud clearing through the afternoon to give largely clear and sunny skies. Light winds. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Mostly dry with sunny spells Sunday but turning cloudier into Monday with light rain. Cloudy and largely dry Tuesday. Winds becoming southerly and strengthening Monday and Tuesday.
