Tonight:

It will be a dry and mostly cloudy evening with a few late sunny then clear intervals. Remaining dry overnight with longer clear spells developing. Moderate to fresh southerly winds. Minimum temperature 12 °C.

Saturday 6 September :

A dry day with plenty of long sunny periods and occasional patchy cloud over Shetland but cloudier with sunny spells for Orkney. Moderate to fresh southerly winds. Maximum temperature 18 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Largely dry with sunny spells on Sunday. Cloudy with rain for a time Monday. Sunny spells and showers on Tuesday. Winds strengthening with a risk of coastal gales at times.
