Sunny spells and scattered showers in the morning, quite cloudy at times, especially for Shetland. The showers becoming fewer and further between through the afternoon. Mainly light winds. Maximum temperature 13 °C.
Tonight:
Some evening sunny spells leading into a night with some clear spells, winds strengthening a little towards dawn on Wednesday. Minimum temperature 6 °C.
Wednesday 24 September :
Remaining settled on Wednesday with a lot of bright and sunny weather, southerly winds freshening later in the day. Maximum temperature 14 °C.
Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:
Dry and bright Thursday and Friday with a lot of sunshine but brisk southerly winds becoming quite strong on Friday night with gales possible, some rain or showers on Saturday.
