Remaining settled with a lot of bright and sunny weather, cloud will come and go at times especially for Shetland, southerly winds freshening later in the day. Maximum temperature 14 °C.
Tonight:
A dry night with clear spells developing for all areas, fresh southerly winds but feeling quite mild despite the breeze. Minimum temperature 6 °C.
Thursday 25 September :
A windy day on Thursday but staying dry with plenty of sunshine, perhaps some cloud creeping over western areas and feeling quite warm, especially for Orkney. Maximum temperature 15 °C.
Outlook for Friday to Sunday:
Strong winds on Friday, possibility of southerly gales but mostly dry and bright. Rain is likely on Saturday but perhaps drier later, then showery for the rest of the weekend.
