Winds continuing to ease and showers becoming fewer later in the morning with some brighter weather for much of the day. Cloud and rain perhaps skirting Orkney during the afternoon. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Tonight:

Cloud and rain at first for Orkney, clearing south through the evening. Otherwise clear spells and scattered showers, becoming increasingly blustery towards morning. Minimum temperature 4 °C.

Monday 27 October :

Bright spells and scattered showers throughout the day. Blustery north to northwest winds at first, easing through the afternoon. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Continuing cold and unsettled with further showery conditions, perhaps longer spells of rain at times. Turning a little milder later on Tuesday but still blustery at times.
