Clear spells and a few showers continue through the evening and overnight. Clouding over for Orkney where showers may form longer spells of rain overnight. Light winds. Minimum temperature 3 °C.

Tuesday 28 October :

Bright spells and showers continuing for Shetland. Cloudy for Orkney with showers, perhaps forming longer spells of rain at times. Light winds. Maximum temperature 7 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Cloudy with longer spells of rain for Orkney on Wednesday, bright spells and showers for Shetland. Mainly dry Thursday with a few morning showers. Strengthening winds Friday with some rain.
