Wednesday 29 October :

It will stay cloudy across Orkney with further rain, persistent, heavier in morning, dying out during afternoon. Shetland will remain mostly dry with brighter interludes. Light winds. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Mainly dry on Thursday with sunny spells and light winds. Unsettled weather pattern on Friday and over the weekend with windy conditions and outbreaks of rain.
