A few showers Shetland but dry at first Orkney. Cloud and a strengthening wind soon spread east with outbreaks of heavy rain following from midday. The rain turns to frequent showers from late afternoon. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Tonight:

The evening will be cloudy and windy with frequent, at times heavy, showers. Showers clear north from late evening. A band of rain follows northeast towards morning. Minimum temperature 6 °C.

Monday 3 November :

Another cloudy and breezy day with bands of rain, some heavy, passing northeast from the early morning. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Cloudy, windy, bands rain and showers, some heavy, pass northeast through most of this period. The best of any dry and brighter periods will be during Wednesday.
