Cloudy, damp start with light rain, mainly over Shetland clearing during morning. Drier in the afternoon with a few brighter interludes. Freshening southerly winds. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

Rather cloudy Friday and Saturday with patchy rain and drizzle. Drier, brighter on Sunday then rain and strengthening southerly winds later.
