A bright day with occasional sunny spells and a scattering of showers. The showers wintry at times, mainly across Shetland and the north or northeast winds moderate or fresh. Maximum temperature 7 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Mainly dry and bright on Saturday with a frost possible at night. A scattering of showers on Sunday and Monday, wintry at times. Chilly winds.
