A bright and cold day with occasional sunny spells and a scattering of showers. The showers wintry at times, mainly across Shetland with moderate or fresh north or northeast winds. Maximum temperature 6 °C.

Tonight:

Clear spells and a scattering of showers through the evening, these become less frequent through the night. Fresh north or northeast winds gradually ease overnight. Minimum temperature 0 °C.

Saturday 15 November :

It will be mainly dry and bright on Saturday but we may still see the odd shower in the morning. Showery rain spreads south through late evening. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

A cold few days with a scattering of showers, increasingly wintry through Monday and Tuesday. Chilly northerly winds, strong at times.
