Mostly dry with some bright spells to start, but showers becoming more frequent through the day, turning increasingly wintry over Shetland through the afternoon. Strong northerly winds developing. Maximum temperature 7 °C.

Tonight:

Scattered showers will continue to feed in through the evening and overnight, these will be wintry to quite low levels. Strong northerly winds. Minimum temperature 0 °C.

Monday 17 November :

Feeling a touch colder than Sunday as scattered showers continue through the day, wintry over modest high ground. Strong northerly winds at first will slowly ease. Maximum temperature 5 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

A cold few days with quite frequent wintry showers. Strong chilly northerly winds will gradually ease through Thursday.
